How long does a flat roof last on Vancouver Island?+
A properly installed TPO or PVC roof typically lasts 25 – 30 years. A 2-ply SBS torch-on roof typically lasts 25 – 35 years. Lifespan depends heavily on drainage design and annual maintenance.

Almost always at the flashings, drains and penetrations — not in the field of the membrane. Proper detailing of these areas is the single most important factor in a long-lasting flat roof.
TPO, PVC or torch-on — which is best?+
TPO is the best value for most low-slope residential roofs. PVC is the premium choice for restaurants and buildings with grease exposure. 2-ply SBS torch-on is the toughest choice for roofs with foot traffic or harsh exposure. We will recommend the right one for your situation.
Can you add a deck on top of my flat roof?+
Yes — we install protected membrane roof assemblies designed to support pedestal-mounted deck pavers or sleeper systems. The membrane goes down first; the deck floats on top.
